Can I play a game released in europe on a system meant for the u.s.? or do they have those region blocks and stuff?For the gamecube
i think european versions run on PAL and american versions on NTSC so they dont work on each other but Im not sure......For the gamecube
There's a region block on it, but it's weak.All you need is an Action Replay or Freeloader to make it work.

Freeloader is usually a part of the action replay as well, but I've heard that it's sold seperately, too. It's a device that lets you play games of any region on your system. It defeats the regionlockout.

no. one or the other. but make sure the action replay has the freeloader function on it (i imagine there are different versions of it).[/QUOTE] I can't find any sort of ''freeloader'' disk... and all the gamecube action replays look like some are newer versions shich don't allow you to bypass the region thing. and all the ones that are apparently supposed to... all go for a pretty hefty price. where could I find one of these stand alone freeloader disks?
