PS1 G-Con 45 guns

HELP!! My g-con 45's don't work on my fancy new TV. I've heard they're not compatible with Plasma and LCD tv's is this true?? Is there anything i can do to make them work?PS1 G-Con 45 guns
As far as I know, the original Guncons only worked on CRT displays (not plasma, lcd, led, etc). The newest versions of the Guncons work on HD TVs through the use of infrared emitters much like the Wii-mote so they are not dependent on the display technology of the television. The Sony made ones are USB and are designed to work with the PS3. There were a few third party guns out there that I believe would work on the PS2 that used IR (Liksang had one before they went under) but they may be difficult to find.-ByshopPS1 G-Con 45 guns
