I need some good RPGs

Some from each gen. I want a few from the 8-bit, the 16-bit, and the 32 bit. Also some for PS2.Thanks :)I need some good RPGs

Yeah I agree with the above poster ^^. But if you want the best rpg, get Shadow of the Colossus.
EarthBound, Golden Sun, Tales of Symphonia, Mass Effect (although the last one isn't really retro it's still my most favourite rpg)
Definitely Star Wars: KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic).

[/QUOTE]Yeah Dragon Quest VIII is one of my favorite RPGs. I was thinking about getting Persona 4, I've heard a lot of good things about it.
I suggest you do actually, I'll go as far as to say it's one of the best RPG's I've ever come accross, and I've played a lot of them :3oh and I've just noticed Suikoden V isalready on there which is good :P

If you have not played Xenogears, do so as soon as humanly possible.
SNES has the best RPGs. Play Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Earthbound.
i always thought legend of dragoon for the ps1 was a good rpg

TC should get this game.TC, I also recommend Shin Megami Tensei : Digital Devil Saga Volume 1 and 2, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XII, Dark Cloud 2, Kingdom Hearts I and II and Dragon Quest VIII.
Chrono Trigger for SNES....best rpg ever made. yes it is. if you disagree, you are wrong.

They are both fantastic, but if you play 4 first when you go to 3 it will feel outdated and inferior, whereas if you play 3 first you will appreciate 4 more for all the changes/fixes it makes. Also, Persona 3 is like $15 now and 4 is still around $40, so maybe the price will drop by the time you finish 3. :P

Yes I already have FFX, FFXII, and Dragon Quest VIII. All great games. Thank you for the recommendation!
