What do I do with my Xbox?

So in some previous posts, I've told y'all about an Xbox and 20 games that was given to me by a friend. I haven't played the Xbox in around a month since it started acting up, even after I cleaned it. I've got all these ''like new, scratch free, shiny case games'' just begging me to play them but I can't really play them. So since the system and games were give to me, I don't feel right selling it all, but I'm tired of the Xbox and all them games just sitting there. So I'm asking all of you fellow gamers, what should I do? And no, I'm not going to give it away, before anybody asks, I'd prefer to play it but I don't know what else to do.What do I do with my Xbox?
Get it fixed? What do I do with my Xbox?

Like how?
:Ddonate it to charity
It seems like you were not destined to play with this xbox :P
Try to get it fixed; I would suggest as well.
Sell it on craigslist and make some money or trade it for something else. Don't cash it in at Gamestop. They are a rip off.
GameStop doesn't even take in Xbox's anymore.
Buy a new Xbox since there cheap-ish now?
throw it out a 9 story window, crush it with a truck, shoot at it, throw it into lava
It's not what you want to hear, however, as I mentioned in your other topic, you should try a new dvd drive from ebay.If cleaning a drive doesn't help, then there's a really good chance the laser has worn out. Cleaning a drive can only do so much before the laser/drive needs replacement.A new drive will cost probably as much as another used system, but there's a good chance it will fix the disk read errors.

Sell your Xbox somewhere, and use the money to help you purchase a Xbox 360.
Sell it to a collector
If you have any local computer repair shops, I'd give them a call and see if they could do something.

Other than that, the DVD drive sounds like one of the few available options left.
Ok, so it sounds like I'll be checking out an Xbox DVD drive, anyone mind helping me find one, like a link or something, I looked at ebay and all I saw was other parts. Thanks everyone for all the help.
here ya go DMan http://www.videogameall.com/xboxparts.htmlmy friend bought his xbox 360 dvd drive from that site a whle back so its legit
Sweet! Thanks, I looked again on ebay and it's mostly 360 stuff and I put original xbox. I'm fixing to check this link out.
