I got ducktales and chip n dale rescue rangers for the nes this week, i also founda copy of guardian heroes for the sega saturn at a garage sale scopped it up for 2 bucks now i can either play a game i love or sell it on ebay for like 80 bucksThe last retro game you bought?
i just got back from buying some dreamcast games.. metropolis street racer, sword of the berserk: guts rage, coaster works, millenium soldier.
I would not exactly call Tomb raider retro. And the last retro game i bought was probably the XBL version of Golden Axe.
I buy alot of old games, not many lately being broke and all. Rival Schools for PS1 is the last 'retro' game i purchased.

Why not? a guy above you mentioned the Dreamcast and that came out the same year as Tomb Raider THREE. Whenever I think of some of the classic games that I just loved as a kid, these always come to mind: Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid (okay, only the first one could count as retro), the first GTA games up to GTA2, and the old Wrestling games (anywhere up until SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role).
I bought Chrono Cross from amazon and I also bought the Sonic Gemes Collection basically for Sonic CD.
I wouldn't call these two titles retro games but I did pick a copy of XenoGears and Resident Evil 2.
Sealed F-Zero a couple weeks ago from estarland
The last old game I bought was Martian Gothic: Unification for the PS1 today. Not exactly retro, but it's the only game from before the PS2 that I've bought in a while.
panzer dragoon Zwei
pilotwings for the super nintendo. great little game.oh, and on the debate about what is retro or not, you could divide it up into 'classic/modern/contemporary'. classic being pac-man, modern being super mario 64, and contemporary being something like rock band.
