So I went to GameStop cause I've been wanting to check out Okami. I grabbed it when I saw it, and I checked out the bargain bin, I've had the game Freekstyle at the back of my mind and it was actually one of the 1st 2 or 3 I picked up, but I decided against it. I saw NBA Jam for PS2 and I didn't get it, I kinda regret not getting it now. Any of y'all played it, I didn't even know it ever came out. So I ended up getting Okami, 2 different Pinball Hall of Fame games (one is the Gottlieb collection, the other is the Williams collection), Street Fighter 15th Anniversary Collection, and Luigi's Mansion for GC. So I was tempted to get Freekstyle and NBA Jam for PS2 but like I said I changed my mind. Any other games that aren't big name games that are worth checking out? I think I spent like $70 on all the games, Okami was $20, SF $20, Luigi's Mansion $15, Pinball HOF-Gottlieb $5, Pinball HOF-Williams $12 not including edge card discount. I don't play RPG's at all.My latest trip to GameStop...
seriously, you have a blog for a reason. My latest trip to GameStop...
My bad.
Erm...what?
OMG why didnt you pick up FreakStyle?! that game is awesome! the most fun/addictive motocross game on any system..go back and get it dude, you'll thank me later.
Well, what do you know, someone actually had something good to say. Thank you, and I will go back and get Freekstyle, if they still have it when I go back.
Those pinball games rock, even though there are a few minor bugs on the Gotleib Collection, be sure to check out the documentation on the disc about the real Pinball Hall of Fame out in Las Vegas... I could play those games all day. But I'm a pinball freak... and they're SO much easier to keep in my apartment when they're on disc instead of real :PExcellent purchase there.I was in a GS the other day and almost dumped a dime or two, but then I remembered I'm flat-broke for the moment.
Yeah, I've had both of those pinball games before and they are a blast. Especially when 2 player games are dying, me and my wife love to play them. I'm glad I found them both again. I wish'd I'd have gotten Freekstyle and NBA Jam, especially NBA Jam, I used to absolutely love that one, on Sega and SNES. I feel like crap for not getting it. Maybe it'll be there next time I go in. I checked GameStop.com to see how much it was cause I forgot, and its $8. So I do plan on getting it soon.

But NO ONE looks at Blogs
NBA jam on the ps2 sucks they all went downhill after nba jam te for the n64. When nba jam came out on the ps2 it was 3d and lost its cartoon-ish aesthetic and very loose play. I still have nb jam for the ps1 and still play it, I would suggest you get it for the ps1 not ps2

I look at the blogs that appear on my feed...
I was totally expecting another gamestop complaint thread but any way some nice grabs. Luigi's Mansion, Street Fighter 15th and Okami are fantastic games.

I'm really sorry... RPGs are so much fun, my favorite genre.
