Bizarre Street fighter game I can't find?

when I was younger there was a street fighter 2 game where the characters did weird stuff like ken and ryo will do double hadoken that criss-cross and can throw them in mid air. Chunli will do her spinning bird kick super fast and low and will throw sonic booms. zangeif will do his spinning pile driver that will go up into the screen like 4 times any way I have never found it again it was in an arcade does any one know the name of this version of street fighterBizarre Street fighter game I can't find?
It must have been one of the many pirated hacked version of Street Fighter. I remember seeing one of those hacked versions that allowed you to change your character in-game by pushing the start button.Bizarre Street fighter game I can't find?
Street Fighter II Rainbow Edition? I saw it few times, long time ago.
yea i remember that, i use to have it..ryu and ken could do air fireballs!! that was awesome!
The Rainbow edition you mentioned is one version. There were a few ROM hacks that existed in the arcades. People would dump the contents of the EEPROMs that contained the game data onto a PC and start disassembling and hex editing the code, then load it back onto programmable EEPROMs and reinsert those onto the arcade motherboard. This version was a lot of fun but it was of course never an official or even Capcom created release.-Byshop
I did the same with game genie on SNES, even had a code for Shen Long, I never experienced it in the arcades.

really though there were rom hacked versions that did different things. the one in my local arcade allowed all special attack in mid air and muliple projectile weapons (like 3 sonic booms on screen at once) the jab fireballs went really really slow and straight, the medium ones arced up and the fierce ones arced up slightly and nailed the opponent in the face really fast (if he was standing) i think no charge time as well. anyways it was labeled as ''street fighter hyper turbo champion edition'' but it was a rom hacked version, albeit an incredibly fun one. a hacked version nonetheless

E Honda's palm attack would reflect fireballs and of course you could throw multiples/in the air. The hack I played was of the original SF 2.-Byshop
