Colecovision: Worth the purchase?

While I was a child, my brother and I used to always play some airplane game with hot air balloons flying around, after our system broke, my mom sold off all our games in a yard sale and I hadnt been able to ever recall the title of the game, but recently, thanks to the angry videogame nerd, I have rediscovered that old game to be Looping, so im inclined to buy a colecovision and play the old game again, but is there enough of a library on the colecovisoin to warrant the purchase?
What might you recommend? or would you at all?
thanks for your time :)Colecovision: Worth the purchase?
I dont know much about the colecovision in particular but usually when I go back to something that old its purely out of nostalgia and I play it for about 15-20 minutes and then never touch it again for a looooooong time. So maybe its not worth it ? Depends, or maybe you just want it for collectors purposes ?Colecovision: Worth the purchase?
not sure but the angry video game nerd is awsome
I remember the smurf game was fun %26 this space ship side-scrolling game was great. I was really young when I played though...
Go for it, there are plenty of great games for the system. If you're a fan of old arcade games, the Colecovision had some of the best arcade ports around. Also, if you ever got bored with it, they made an adaptor that lets you play Atari 2600 games on it. Worth the purchase in my opinion.
I'd get it, it's like the 2600 game-wise in that the majority are arcade type titles but with better graphics and sound.
