CRITICAL RESPONSE NEEDED!!!! im trying to make a decision....

im going to the store in tomorrow afternoon to eithe rpick up Metal Gear Solid 3 or God or War 2. PLEASE i need some help on trying to decide causeim bout to go crazy:cry:!! i know both are excellent games but i can only get one or the other AT THIS POINT!!! so please help me out hereCRITICAL RESPONSE NEEDED!!!! im trying to make a decision....
Well it depends what sorta game you like. GOW 2 is an easier ''pick up and play'' game if you ask me, little backstory that's vital. If you've played the other MGS's that for sure, if you haven't GOW. But by all means pick up MGS 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, cause it's a series you don't want to miss.CRITICAL RESPONSE NEEDED!!!! im trying to make a decision....
you knwo what i have ALL the other metal g\ears except for this one. and i played the first GoW and i REALLY enjoyed that. im a bigtime metal gear fan but maaan i cant deny the superbness that is Kratos! i love both series and enjoy both game types!!! so im stuck bigtime man!
god of war is over hyped crap. MGS3 is incredibly fun no matter how many times you go through the game. NO CONTEST!!!!

It depends what type of game you're looking for. Out of those two, I like God of War 2 better.
It really depends on what you're looking for. You've had experience with both series, so if you'd rather play an MGS game, get MGS3. If not, get GoW2.

Haha if you think im an mgs fanboy your dead wrong. 3 just has awesome gameplay that makes the rest of the game not matter. I am a God Of War hater though.
i like god of war. i mean its just like all the battles even the small ones are made to seem epic. i enjoy the story and since i keep hearing its like the first one but better in every area then i MUST play this. on the other hand...



i just cant wait to get metal gear solid 3 so i can play as big boss and see what his story was like. i KNOW MGS3 is gonna be awesome too....OH JESSUS CHRIST!! i mean i would love to play either game as im extremely hyped to buy them both. i just dont know wich one to get first
I would stick with God of War 2. I fall asleep while playing MGS games.
Well In my opinion I have played both games and if your going to get MGS3 thanget the Subsistence which is the special edition with 2 discs one with MGS3 and some bonus content and disc 2 has bonus content and the first 2 Metal Gear games made on the NES so not a bad pick. And God Of War is just none stop action with the best graphics on the Ps2. So if you want Action go with God of War and if you wanta tactical game go with Metal Gear
Personally i would say God of War II,one of my favorite series. But judging by your avatar and that you have all the other games I think MGS3 is probably the right purchase for you.
Why can't you get both? GameStop is having a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale after all. If there's absolutely no way you can get both, then I would say, get God Of War 2. I liked God of War 1, but man, I LOVED part 2. It's 100x better than the first. I've beat it twice and am halfway through the 3rd time through, and I know I'll go through it a few more times. When Kratos fights the Colossus of Rhodes, man i'll never forget that, EPIC! The MGS series just isn't my thing.
i would skip both of them.. god of war is really overated. and mgs3 is in my opinion the worst metal gear .. though i know loads of people will say its the best.. its all personal though.

get gow 2 first. since you really like it, judging from this post. both are good games though. but if you want alot of replayability, then i suggest you get mgs 3 SUBSISTENCE. the difficulty and challenges of this game will keep you going back for more. its addicting.



gow2 on the otherhand is good and just plain fun to play. hack your way to the end. lol.



either way you wont go wrong. JUST GO with gow2, since it has a higher rating too than mgs 3!!!



but if you buy them used, im pretty sure you can get both.
im gonna try and go out to get them both today if i can find them both at my local GS. i managed to get enough cash to get both games (THANK GOD!!) now i just gotta make sure theey have both games and can hold them for me. i think ill take your advice xenogears and get subsistence. i dont have the original metal gears except as a rom on my nes so this would DEFINATLY b a throw back to the classics, i would LOVE to play those again. alright guys im bout to make the call, wish me luck
Both are really, really good IMO. I couldn't choose, ugh. I guess try GoW2. (I flipped a coin for the choice XD)
God of War 2 is horrible, so get MGS3 if you're set on that decision. Atleast that way it will be a gamble rather than certain doom.
Hard choice dude, but I would say MGS3. GoWII is awesome but MGS3 is better IMHO.
