As we all know DLC versions of legacy classics keep expanding, including a possible rumor of FFVII for PSN which if true will probably be announced at E3. So I am asking all you Legacy,Oldschool, and retro gamers whatwould like to hear at E3,not just for future releases but about the way we have to purchase these games and how they are distributed?E3 and legacy Gaming.
I really want to play Shadow of the Colossus.Chances are slim =[E3 and legacy Gaming.
Personally, I'd like Sega to open their own store on the PSN. They could offer-up all of their old games from the Sega Mastersystem, Genesis, Saturn, and potentially the Dreamcast. They could have their own store kind of like Capcom's offering soon. Not only will this offer more revenue for Sega, but it would allow all of us old-school gamers a chance to re-play the gems of the past, or the games that we've missed. I know the Wii is already offering these, but I don't have/want a Wii. It would be nice to be able to download these and use the PS3 controller.
Also, I'd love it if older PC games were ported to the PS3, so we could replay them. I've never been much of a PC gamer, but there are a ton of games I've always wanted to play and never got the chance (Ultima Underworld 1 %26 2), Daggerfall, Fallout 1%262, etc. Seriously, the PS3 is equipped to work with a keyboard %26 mouse, and I think that Sony is missing out on a huge market of gamers who prefer the mouse %26 keyboard, who would download these games on the PS3. I mean, Nintendo has focused on serving non-gamers, why not have Sony cater to PC gamers a bit and try to sway them to the PS3. I'm personally a console only gamer, but I'd like to give these older games a try.
I want some old school rpg action =P
I'd love to see BC for the PS3 in a firmware updated, but then hell would surely have to freeze over.
Failing this I would love to see somewhere where I could get downloadable versions of Saturn, Dreamcast and PS2 games.
I would also love to see more support for the VC and PS Classics on the PSN as these have slowed to a trickle at best.
I want Nintendo to announce the release on Earthbound on the Virtual Console so I don't have to spend $100 for the cartridge.
i think that any game that is rare or highly valuable should get a download release, not everyone has endless amounts of money to spend, sure there are people who want the originals for collectible reasons, but i like many others just want to play the actual game.i also think places like ebay need a slap in the face, i will never pay more then ?0 for a new game and no more then ?0 for a retro or second hand game, the release or marvel vs capcom 2 this month has probably already lowered the value of the originals, and i see that as a good thing.
