OK, so I found the Sphere Grid to be very big. Very very big. My question is, is there a path I should follow, like North, South, or East, so that I get all the best upgrades, abilities, etc? Because it's really big, and I don't want to spend a long time just planning what I should do.I have yet another problem in Final Fantasy X
Its big, but you should fill it up. The only person you need to do some careful filling up with is Kilmarhi. When you finish out his default grid, make him move into Auron or Tidus because he will suck without attack power later on. I have yet another problem in Final Fantasy X

[/QUOTE]Yeah definitely move so Kimhari has lots of attack power, otherwise it's pretty sraightfoward. Excep I moved Wakka in a completely wierd direction don't do what I did.
Kimhari starts in the very center of the sphere grid so you'll have to choose on your own what power-ups he'll get. But really, he's a physical attacker so upgrade his strength and health.
The grid jsut ended up really annoying me, it wasnt that i sucked at it but i jsut couldnt be bothered. i like the experience and level up system nice and simple.
Mines are so screwed up.
Yuna is in the Rikku section
Wakka is in the Lulu section and knows more magic then her.
Tidus is in the auron section.
Auron is in the Wakka sectionRikku is in the Kilmari sectionand Kilmari is basically out wandering.
Everybody is terrible and I've been trying to beat Sin for about.....20 months now
Like others have said, make Kimarhi go to tidus's or Auron's sections, and everyone else should be straight-forward.
nah just fill it all up it;s awesome, so makesure you go to the path that is best for your game play
Making Kimarhi a white mage isnt to bad of an idea as well.
Uhmm.. I had everyone learn their own abilities then start to branch out to other characters so now everyone knows like half the grid... because I have like no life. :P
Actually, I'd say planning is the best way to go about it. ^^'' Most of the characters have a pretty obvious route. I'd plan ahead, sort of, so you generally know which direction you want to take your party in. The sphere grid is pretty sucky though and I found myself getting trapped and then ending up in weird places.
i thought the system they used in Final Fantasy 12 was much better... i just wished that it had been larger. For FFX, I just made Tidus into a Paladin, with strong enough attacks, and then basic white magic, with tons of Time Magic to act as a support character. The rest as above, really.
everyone except khilmari shoudl be self explanitory. if they are a magic user put them on a magical path...physical should follow physical path.
There really is no planning involved... just follow the path for each character, and if you run out of orbs, just wait until you recieve some before continuing on....As for simple boss kills... Use Yuna during normal battles, even if you find her useless. Making her stronger will make the Aeons' stronger. While doing that, max out all the limit breaks for all her Aeons', and don't use them. Save them for Boss battles. What you do is weaken the Boss as much as you can with normal attacks, and then bring Yuna out and use her Aeons' final attacks to finish them off. You'll only have one turn with each Aeon...because they'll be easily killed, so make that first turn there final attack. Only exception are bosses with 2 or more forms, in that case you save them for the final form... or split them up.Also, Aeons' 9999 cap limits will unlock depending on the ultimate weapons you've found and unlocked... per character. Bahamut's 9999 cap limit is unlocked from the beginning, I think...

Don't start experimenting with other people's grids for a character until their default is filled up first. When it comes to my grid, everyone has their default filled up and 3 other characters' skills learned as well.
Just follow everyone's path and at the end, move switch Lulu and Yuna. Move Rikku into Yuna's, then Tidus's. Tidus into Auron's. Auron's into Tidus's. Wakka into Auron's. Kimahri into Lulu's.
