As long as it has been out and with as many consoles it has sold it should be one.Yeah they are still making games for it,but it is 9 years old.Been out for a while.It has survived the test of time and keeps defying age.It will probably go down as one of the best game consoles ever made.I don't think sony will ever achieve the amount of success of any new ps models like they did with the ps2.
Any system considered last gen or older is considered a legacy platform on GS.
Makes sense I suppose - just seems like an awful lot of good systems to group them all up in one forum..
I too doubt that Sony will achieve the success of the PS2 with their new generation PS3 - it seems very expensive and that people are jumping into it more slowly than the last generation.
