So what do I do

I have A/V cables compatible with PS2 and PS1 and it will not fit into my console. It goes in half way, so I get no picture and I have another problem. I had to buy replacement power cables and they only fit in half way, sow hat do I do, leave it like that? I already powered the system on liek that so if its damaging it, I guess its nothing I can do now.So what do I do
are they the official A/V cables or are they 3rd party cables?So what do I do
Is they are not fitting right, or as your saying going in half way you'll need to replace them. Like the guy above ^^^^ said are they third party or official, if they are third party the only thing to do is to buy official Sony leads.
