Crash Bandicoot, FTW. Warped being the greatest of the Crashes. Spyro The Dragon vs. Crash Bandicoot
Warped is on my top 10 games of all time but I rated Spyro The Dragon above it.
I'm gonna have to go with Spyro here. Sometimes I pop in the old games just to hear the music.
Spyro was my game series. At least, up til PS2...
Spyro used to be awesome, until you kow....the PS2 Soyro games. But yeah I much prefeered Spyro to Crash.
Spyro.
crashspyro always made me motion sick
CrashI never beat either game because my friend never had a memory card
Spyro
Crash was always my thought of the definitive 3-D platformer. Spyro was lots of fun and I think I enjoyed playing as him more than I enjoyed playing with Crash but I'd still have to go with Crash.
Sypro: Year Of The Dragon was one of my favourite PS1 games, so I would go with that. The Crash games were great (Warped especially) but they were a bit too linear.
Spyro. Crash was all right, but I've always liked dragons, so Spyro is right up my alley.Pity what's become of the series, though. It's doubly sad because I honestly think there's still fire left in that there chest if they really tried; it just seems like they aren't even bothering.

I think the PS2 games were made by new developers. The games seem too different to have been made by the original designers/programmers.
Crash Bash > all
Spyro for me. I only had the first 2 games in each series and I was interested in the Spyro games enough to complete them 100 percent. The crash games...not so much.
I always liked Spyro more.
spyro and crash both got me into gaming in a huge way, but spyro is a timeless classic and i liked exploring better, crash was just too linear.
Always preferred Spyro. Cocky little dragon beats bug-eyed weird bandicoot hands down. The open style of play, exploratory nature, control and camera system as well as the inclusion of mythical creatures made it a far better game than the limited and linear, go back and do the level again to the special gem, play of bandicoot.
I prefer Crash, for some weird reason I never like Spyro so much, Back in those days I think I completed Crash Warped like 5 times.
