It was a great game and a great series up to Rising Sun (best multiplayer mode ever!), but then after their best one yet they fudged up on all the rest of the games that came after. European Assault and beyond. Why they did it sooo differently I don't know, but the newer games are a terrible mistake.Another one is the Pokemon Series. Yeah I said it. Red/Blue was great. Gold/Silver was greater.
Then the fall starts Ruby/Saphire was ok. They had teh coolest dragons thats for sure but everything else was just so so.And then....Dppt came out. I gotta say they fudged on almost all the new generation pokes except for a few. (lucario is an exception for example)
I don't wanna know how the 5th generation turns out to be honest.Games that had good starts, but bad finishes
i hate to say it but terminator 2 for snes had a great start but after 10 minutes it isnt good and its made by a company who gets high when they make gamesGames that had good starts, but bad finishes
The most perfect example of this must surely be Sonic The Hedgehog
I kind of agree with the sonic thing, but I like were sonic is running and everything is happy, its pretty much like the beginning, but then is the very end.... >_> I mean I always thought, what is the gems do, then I got the gems and beat the game after years, and I was like (o)_(o), stupid Dr Robotnick sayying try again? That is what makes the finish horrible, not the other stuff, I mean it makes you feel like you did not actually beat it. The alternative ending is the exact same except it makes things look worst when he unleases the emeralds. >_>
The most perfect example of this must surely be Sonic The Hedgehog
Joke?Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 I can't get enough of! I've probably played them over a hundred times :) Sonic the Hedgehog the original isn't my favorite game, mainly because I got it after Sonic 3.
I think Halo 2 had an awesome 1st half, then it fell apart in the 2nd half.

But if he is talking about the first game just read my post above.

TC means game series that started off well but are now rubbish.Of course Sonic 1, 2, 3 and S%26K are brilliant from start to finish. My point was that since 1994, Sonic games have been vomit inducingly bad, and everyone knows it... apart from Sega apparently.
Dark Cloud 2. The first and second dungeon were fun, but then you realized that was the whole game and then it got boring.
I kinda meant the series in general, but if some guys start great and choke in the end on just one game go ahead and shout it out.Heres one
SNES Jurassic Park...Its great for like a half an hour but it gets to be soooo repeticious that you just wanna gag or breathe relief at the end.
(I still want it remade though its unlike any other jurassic park game i have ever played lol)
I actually thought the newer Medal of Honor games aren't too bad, cept for Rising Sun, that was just terrible.I think right now the crown goes to Sonic. Started out as the main rival for Mario, and ended up a hobo in a street corner begging for change.
Most games are static state and thus did not change at all when new consoles came out, and I don't think any online games received radically altering updates around the same time. So, no such game exists.
