Legacy platforms collector

if youre a legacy videogame collector, what videogames, or consoles you must have, or recommend to collect?Legacy platforms collector
depends on what you like. imports are usually more collectable andare therefore more expensive, plus they tend to have the best box art. i find myself collecting mostly sega (genesis, saturn, dreamcast), ps1 and ps2. i think if ya want to be like super hardcore collector guy, you need to collect neo geo aes stuff.Legacy platforms collector
My personal favorite system to collect for is the Atari 2600, for a number of reasons:1) There's a ton of different console, and label variations if you're into that kinda stuff2) There's something to collect for everybody. Games can range from under $1 to $1000, so there's plenty to be on the lookout for when looking for games.3) Most of the really good games are relatively easy to find, and pretty cheap too.4) Plenty of timeless classics for the system.5) And most importantly (and of course opinions will vary on this) most of the games are simply fun.
i collect games mostly for my dreamcast. i have alot of imported games.
Arcade. Thanks to emulation, almost all but the most mainstream popular games can be bought rather cheap (for arcade range prices that is).
For consoles:

NES, SNES, and Genesis/Mega Drive are all must haves
and super nintendo? n64 or ps1? those are legacy platforms, just remeber in my ps1 the final fantasies series....
i would recommened to collect rare games and old consoles. the consoles that i would collect are SNES, Dreamcast, NES, Sega CD and Sega 32x because many of the games are hard to find and are worth a bit of cash (except NES and SNES, they are pretty easy to find) its always the bad consoles that are worth the most (except SNES)one rare game i would recommened to find is Marvel vs capcom 2 (the original xbox or ps2 version) and MGS3 subsistance.
