Not including MMO's like WOW what would you say is the longest game of all time. What is the longest game of all time
Wow... Good question!
Well, there are probably longer games out there... but Grandia! I pretty much ran through it and it still took me 40+hours to get to the final boss.
It has a feel to it that says ''Surely there can't be more world map! =o''What is the longest game of all time
i can't say for certain but i know alot of the stat building NIS srpg games like disgaea can take hundred and hundred of hours to max out stats and get the best equipment.

True, forgot about those!
Max levels of 99999 i think?
an rpg is very long followed by a simulation racer or sandbox style game A.K.A. action adventure (GTA, Saints Row, True Crime)
1. Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall
2. Elder Scrolls: Morrowind
3. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
I heard Legend of Dragoon is very long, gameplay is like 10 hours on a disc!
I would say Twilight princess. Took me about 100+ h to beat it.

You must have been moving at a pretty glacial pace, bro. That game isn't very long..

Maybe Daggerfall since the game was the size of England. But the other two were pretty tiny.
Wow that is a very long time to spend on one game. A game like that can take some serious determination.
My first time with RE4 took like 50 hours somehow, I guess I was looking at every nook for treasures, and backtracking. However, I got it down to like around 10 hours later on. I played on both GC and PS2.
for a legacy system, i think its morrowind.
Longest game for me was Suikoden V. My time says 92 hours or someting :P One of very few games I actually thoroughly enjoyed from start to finsh and didn't want to end :(
Probably like the Sims or something. Even though it sucks, it never ends. Go figure.

The world size of a game does not necessarily correspond to the length of said game. How are the two ''tiny'' when you compare them to the majority of games? Daggerfall is one of the very, very few games that are in fact ''larger.''
Anyways... ''longest'' is a very relative term. For me, it would probably apply to Morrowind.
Dragon Quest 7 for the PS1.
Could be any of the Disgaea games and also Star Ocean on the PSX. Especially on the Universal mode and fighting Indalecio.
