PS1 Disk Colour Question??

What do people say is the better colour on the back of the disk, silver or black?? The reson I ask this is because I just got a PAL copy of FF VIII for AU$8 and it's got black disks.PS1 Disk Colour Question??
I am American and I've never seen Ps1 disks in any other color but black.PS1 Disk Colour Question??
I've only seen silver disks for ps1 never black
I've seen silver and blue.Blue disks were discontinued because they became undreadable sometimes.
yeh ok its blue then. so you would rather a silver copy of FF VIII then a blue copy?
my discs for ps1 were always black and im in the us. id rather have a blue copy? what does it matter really?
Ok I'll clear this up once and for all therePs1 all games had a black back there were no siver or blue backs yetPs2 at the very start a few games had blue backs but the system had to work harder to read it so they stopped making them and then all games after that were silver backedSo to awnser your question there is no other color for ps1 games like Final Fantasy Viii and the one you have is the best you can get
Thankss for that clarification Xenogears_Rocks
lol all my ps1 are blackps2 are gold/silver or bluegameshark is a purple/bluish
id never seen a original playstation game disc any other color besides black to be honest
Looking at a ps1 disc you would think its black but upon further investigating if you hold a disc to the light and are able to see though the disc you'll noltice that it is accually a dark blueish - purple.
ps2 disks are blue if made on a cdrom.... they are silver if they are on a dvdrom
It may vary by region. In America, they're all black, and that's all i know.
