PSX vs PSone

I found a PSX for a reasonable price, its one of thelater original grey models. Ialready have a slimline PSone, but im not sure.the question is, does the original grey models have any advantages over the slimline?, in terms of reliability, features and the like.thanksPSX vs PSone
im actually suprised that the PSone loads games better, better reliability and more features to the cd playerPSX vs PSone
Hmm, I thought they were different names for the same consoles.

the PSone is the smaller redesigned model, wheres the PSX is the original grey one

the reason im asking is that alot of console redesigns are either less reliable (made more cheaply), or have features taken out., im not sure if thats the same for the PS1
